Who: Scout and Adults
As per Troop 149 Policy, you MUST attend the Troop Meeting on
Tuesday, August 16 , 2005 to help plan the activity.
What: Skiing MB Weekend
Where: Camp Rotary on Lake Hartwell, GA
When: Friday, August 19, 2005 - Sunday, August 21, 2005
Friday, please be at the Church 4:00 PM to begin loading trailer. We
will depart at 4:30 PM
On Sunday, we will depart Camp Rotary after lunch and arrive at the
Church around 3:00 PM
Scouts should bring the following:
- Be in Class A uniform to travel
- have a sack dinner to eat on the way to the Camp (we will not be
stopping)
- if you have you own ski vest, please bring it
- tent or tent mate, ground cloth, etc
- sleeping bag, etc
- mess kit, cup, utensils, etc
- poncho or other rain gear
- bathing suit, tee shirt that can get wet (if sun is intense), hat, etc
- SUN BLOCK/SCREEN
- WATER BOTTLE to prevent dehydration
- change of clothing, etc
- towel
- no open toed shoes!!!
Cost: $25.00 - this will include Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and
Sunday Breakfast and Lunch and gas for the boats.

- Pate
ADULTS:
All adults going on the trip must have gone through the youth
protection training. Brent and Josh please see Bob Wentworth.
I need to know how many drivers we will going.
I need a driver to pull the scout trailer. Please contact me ASAP
P.S. Scouts who plan to take the motorboating merit badge (if it is offered) should review The Boating Safety Handbook at the Department of Natural Resources website. Select "Law Enforcement" then select "Boating Safety Handbook".
