Meeting Agenda:
1. Review of cost- $1100-$1200
2. Philmont video "The Right Stuff"
3. Review of Philmont Health forms- return to Doug K with copy of
insurance card
4. Review of Philmont Health Advisory information
5. Review of Crew concept- We will be functioning as "sister" crews
6. Review of Crew leader's responsibilities
7. Johnny G & Billy O will function as Crew Leaders for our next
pretrek hike- Jan 26-27
8. Discussion of conflict for the April 27-28 pretrek hike with OA
Conclave and Rotary Conference-Crew members will review their schedules
for possible conflict if trip is rescheduled for April 20-21
9. Review of Philmont's Personal gear list- also available on Troop's
web site
10. Review of process of selection of trek. Descriptions of treks can be
seen on the Troop's web site
11.Parent volunteers' roles- Going away party, Welcome home party,
T-shirts, etc.(Kin M & Paul T: T-shirts, Kathy G: assist with parties)
12. Troop web site is the source of Troop's Philmont information- check
web site often.
13. Review of First Aid & CPR certification needs
14. ADULT CREW MEMBERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BEGIN A PROGRAM OF
EXERCISE NOW TO GET INTO SHAPE FOR PHILMONT.
