The May 21-23 trip to Scoutland, to work on either the Canoeing merit badge, or BSA Lifeguard certification, is filling up fast.
We will be leaving the Church not long after school gets out on Friday (the 21st) --in order to be in Gainesville in time for 7 pm check-in/classes. The campout will be ending around 1 pm on Sunday, the 23--so we'll be getting home after that.
-the cost for the trip /person (adults and Scouts) will be $27
-The Troop must pay as we make our reservations, so consider that there will be no refunds and you are making the committment to go (and fill a space in a limited class.)
-BSA Lifeguard candidates will be working on part of this certification during that weekend, and arrangements will be made to finish it during your free time at CRM this summer. If you will not be attending CRM with the Troop this summer, there will be another weekend (either June11-13 or August 20-22) during which you would be able to complete your certification.
